Los Voladores de Papantla
If you have the chance, be sure to checkout this ritualistic dance. The Voladores can be seen regularly throughout Mexico, and perform a ritualistic spectacle where 4 men fly upside down from a 75 foot pole with no safety nets.
Hierve el Agua
Here you will find a natural set of rock formations that look like frozen waterfalls. Located on top of a cliff, these formations are home to a variety of bubbling mineral springs that make for a unique bathing experience.
While there are some tours available from Oaxaca, the best way to get to Hierve el Agua is by local transportation.
Pico De Orizaba
Pico de Orizaba is the tallest mountain in Mexico and is known as a stratovolcano. For most, the sight of the Volcano is enough, but for those who are extra adventurous, tours are available. Orizaba is a fairly easy climb but does require the use of crampons, climbing ropes, and ice axes.
